Using Down Time Wisely
Short Stories From 10 Years Ago – August 17, 2004 – I tend to be a worrier. It’s not much wonder considering my track record with panic and high anxiety. Sounds like a good name for a novel, doesn’t it? “Panic and High Anxiety” – “A spellbinding saga of family intrigue, corporate greed and star-crossed lovers torn apart by the demands of their respective dynasties.

Factory Farming Evil – Part 1
Factory Farming Evil – Part 1 – I don’t know the author of this particular piece (I wish I did). I have seen it on social media more than once and I thank whoever wrote it for the courage to put this savage suffering into words. This is a story that needs to be told – read – shared and re-shared. This is an example of the price that animals pay for our selfish ignorance. Without them we would already have tipped over the abyss. However – the experiment that is “mankind” – is failing fast. Oh – we’ve had opportunities to be glorious – to prove that we are smart enough to learn from our mistakes!

I’m A Genius
Short Stories From 10 Years Ago – August 15, 2004 – Perhaps ‘genius’ is too strong a word, but I’m unbelievably pleased with myself today. In keeping with yesterday’s decision to try and deep six my anger and disappointment over my crashed computer, I decided to be proactive and get my third floor computer running to back-up documents and print out a hard copy of my August writing.
